Musical Influences Although she is a country performer and songwriter, Shea enjoys all kinds of music. Some of her favorite artists are Faith Hill, Don Henley, Macy Gray, the Dixie Chicks, and Mary J. Blige.

Artist History With Shea's vocal ability and songwriting aptitude, people are surprised to learn that she was not raised in a performing atmosphere. Shea says about her musical history, "I have none, other than I have always loved music. For years I had such an overwhelming desire to sing and play bottled up inside me. I knew Nashville was where I needed to be, so a year ago I just decided to DO IT, and I made the move. I love being around great players and great music. I have gotten a fantastic band together, and we're playing out now. Things are happening fast! We will be doing several showcases this summer for a few record producers who have shown an interest in my CD."

Group Members Shea Smith, lead vocals."Grantham Road" is the local Nashville band which performs with Shea. "Scott plays steel and acoustic guitar. He played for years with Vern Gosdin.Mike is a terrific bass player who always has it together! Rene is one of our fiddle players. Her background in the bluegrass & country fields.Chris is our drummer who has drummed with too many artist to list.Ward has played with Tracy Lawrence and Aaron Tippin, among others. He is an excellent fiddle & mandolin player."
