Artist History I've been writing songs since I was a kid. Went to college and took a lot of theory and composition courses. I supported myself while in college by playing in quite a few different bands. Everything from Punk to Country and Western. After several years of doing this it became clear to me that playing one-night-stands wasn't the kind of life I wanted. So, I started investing in some instruments and multi-track tape machines so I could write and record my music at the pace I desired. Then the PC revolution happened and it became clear to me that this was an opportunity in the making. I could do things I'd only dreamed of, and for a fraction of the price. Now I'm totally into DAWs and the only regret about leaving the analog world behind is not waiting a while longer to sell some of my old gear. It seems that all those old synths and drum machines that I used to curse for their toy-like sounds have become all the rage. Who would have guessed? So now I sit in my studio making music at my computer. It's all done at my own pace and to my specifications. But, most importantly, it's brought the fun back into creating music.
