Artist History red/five started in january of 2001 as Red Carpet Arrival. They played for about a year and after building upon themselves as a better and tighter group, dave decided to pursue his other interests. Matt Kevin and Colin decided to play on and were now searching for a bass player. They took advantage of the next few months working on songs and arrangement, before looking for a new bass player. When the time came they recruted Lyle, who used to play in another band with matt when they were in highschool. The four now have their sound, their fanbase, and their network built, they added a synth player, and began digging deeper to find the music the wanted to play.
