Artist description
The now defunct band Loosends was a main player in the New York City original music scene of the late '80's and early '90's. They played many live shows, their mainstay being The Bitter End in Greenwich Village. Before the eventual demise, their music and performances generated interest from the streets of the Village to the A&R people of the major labels. Their potential success never came to pass, but their music lives on, and by popular demand is now readily available thanks to mp3.com. |

Artist History
Loosends formed in 1988 ... Carl and Anthony were jamming at Phrygian Studios with Andrew and Jerry, and the staffer at the studio was Paul. They eventually joined together and started writing, and the chemistry was magical. By 1992, the rigors of the rock and roll world led to the demise of the band. But it sure was fun while it lasted. |
