Artist description
Kickshaw consists of Dean on vocals and guitar, Ross and bass and Rich on
drums. All born and raised in Bristol, England, this unsigned three-piece
manages to combine catchy bouncy and fat killer riffs with a clear
understanding of melodic songwriting. The newest EP, 'Introducing Raymond'
shows a further depth of melody and the bigger sound that they have defined.
2003 will see the band achieve true recognition in Bristol and the UK as
they continue to infect crowds with songs that you will not be able to
forget. |

Artist History
Dean and Rich had always wanted to do a musical project together. As it
happened, they went separate ways in 1995 when Rich played in band
'Grounded' and Dean and Ross formed band 'Monster'. After some levels of
success, five-piece Monster split up and reformed as three-piece Kickshaw in
1999 with another Dean. Kickshaw then played for three years with this
line-up, performing and headlining at venues and radio stations across
Bristol and releasing two EP's. Most recently in 2002, Rich joined as
replacement drummer. A few warm-up gigs have been played and an EP has just
been recorded. Now is the time. |
