Artist description The St Louis based independent hip-hop group consists of: Big Money Bushman, Potent C and BailJumpa aka Danksta D. Hempnotics Co founder and artist/producer Big Money Bushman has been doing his since 1987.This St Louis native originally started as a DJ then switched to rhyming and producing.Big Money has done several live performances over the years including live shows,contests and numerous parties.Financier and group leader of Hempnotics,yet maintaining a behind the scenes image,Big Money believes “Hempnotics has the people,the sounds,the talent and experience to make major moves. Potent C was born and raised in St Louis next to Musik Park in Berkeley.He started rapping at age 11 and dreamed of making it big with his laid-back delivery and ability to come with hooks.When he and Big Money built the studio in ‘97 he developed his production skills.“When I was on stage in the tightest MC 2000 competition an saw and heard the crowd cheering and screaming for me,it changed my life.” After doing a show and putting out an underground CD he is hoping to make a career out of it. One of the featured artists BailJumpa A.k.a. Danksta D best describes his style as“pissed off in your face no holds barred.”BailJumpa started rapping serious in 1995 after hooking up with Big Money Bushman.BailJumpa’s biggest influences are 2PAC,NWA and the BEASTIE BOYS.St Louis has been his home since the age of three and now with all eyes on St Louis,he believes it’s Hempnotics time to shine. Hempnotics released a DEMO containing 8 tracks of original music (Nov. 2000).Produced mostly by their (In House) production team “HEMPNOTIC SOUNDS”,and recorded at their own pre-production studio.Less than 30 days later they did a live performance of the demo on December 14, 2000 at the Voo Doo club St Louis MO.Hempnotics is currently creating and recording tracks for their first full-length album.
