Artist description
I've been writing songs since I picked up a guitar at the age of twelve. My high voice has been compared to that of Neil Young and Mac McCaughan (Superchunk). I write everythin gon my acoustic and have yet to really put together a band. Maybe someday soon (hopefully) |

Artist History
I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. My Dad had an old beat up guitar that I use to attempt to play. Annoyed by my constant whining, he sent me to some guitar lessons. In high school, I was part of the now defunkt Mort Todd. That scene lasted five years, and two shitty EPs released only on tape and owned only by friends and family. In college, I grabbed my acoustic guitar and started playing around Montreal as often as I could. I formed Organized Chaos, a folk fest of sorts for local musicians and poets to perform, with local poetess, Sophie Grunikewicz. After a summer of Organized Chaos, I packed my bags and moved to Vancouver. Still writing and struggling, a CD release is creeping closer, I think.. |
