Artist description
Dont know if you could find closer brothers. What makes the music so special is the fact that is written only through the divine inspiration of our Father (we only write music when God lends us His spirit, if we arent inspired, we dont write), the music therefore is a gift to God. We do it in order to glorify Him. Notice the amalgamation of joy and hope, truth and conviction. This is what our Christian life is about- not an empty religion of duties and rituals but a love relationship with our Heavenly Father. |

Music Style
Its kind of hard to explain. Most would call it hip hop/rap, however there definite hardcore, funk, and even emo influences. Lately we've been into stripping down our sound to simply vocal tracks accompanied by acoustic guitar and beatbox. Its an interesting concept. Some would call us innovators...not me of course, cause most of the time we suck and screw up our songs. Hey, its just a testament to the awesome grace of our beautiful King and Lord. |

Artist History
Josh and Chris started the rapping trend back in 1997 with the birth of 'booty raps', that is, freestyle raps made up on the spot about whatever was going on at the moment. they then began writing real raps. After the 1998 talent show they recruited Domeck to beatbox. With this inclusion, they were able to bust out raps whenever and wherever they wanted. Not to long after Jonathan jumed on to add the now essential guitar element. unfortunatly the guys had to split to go to college, but Josh and Chris, both attending the Universtiy of Florida, continue to write and perform the distinctive Eastie sound. |
