    Press Reviews
DIAMATREGON " The Satanic Devotion " (un CD très artisanal sorti chez DMG)Note : 666 penisIt seems the guitarist a fait un stage en Norvége and the vokillist seems to be raped by his own dog, probably a little caniche en manque d'affection but which must have a big cock and so big balls that he couldn't walk; he had to support his own bollocks, pas evident quand on est caniche et que Virginie n'est pas toujours dans les parages ! When singing, Diamargarteton must have been several times embarassed by his own cross, often trying to impale his dick on it but couldn't because having too dirty hands. Où est ce ke t'as mis tes sales pattes mon gamin ? Neandertalian black metal, Diama Trés Con is the prove that ONLY in Grenoble (France), there is a newly discovered subspecies of prehistorical humans which have survived intact through all the historical changes, and there are ONLY Three specimens know of the species named by Lafayette as Homo S. Diamacretinus. As main characteristic of this subspecies, we can quote the capacity of creating only primitive neandertalian black metal. In fact H.S. Diamacretinus, is able to play an vociferations. Well, if you still don,t believe such creature exist (you will NOT find it in Les Pages Roses! !) You can always check out.Par Christophe Szpajdel (our logo master) / Les Chroniques de Raymond13/04/2000 ;Devil Excellsir Newsletter 'zine- (Belgique) DIAMATREGON " Blasphemy for Satan" This album from French black metal band Diamatregon is quite impressive. If I understand correctly, this is the band's second album recording, and contains eight tracks that span 45 minutes. The label on the disk reads "Diamatregon II - Blasphemy for Satan" which prompts us to wonder if the first Diamatregon burned down, or something. It shouldn't surprise us, considering how hot the infernal flames of Hell burn within this band. The songs on Blasphemy for Satan tend to be fast on the first few tracks. The band manages to make them stand out from one another fairly well with some use of melody. Later on in the disk, more slowed down, evil passages are explored with success. The jury is still out on whether Diamatregon is playing their songs under control, or if the band members just set their internal switches to "evil" and are going off. Where this may be many bands' downfall, the controlled messiness of Diamatregon really works in the band's favor. Very much adding to this impression is how the vocals are delivered with utterly reckless abandon. You can tell the band doesn't give a fuck: they've got the evil lumps of coal where a heart should be in the right place and are belting out tune after tune of mad, wonderful black metal. As far as black metal goes, the sound quality on Blasphemy for Satan is at least as good as a lot of albums from bands that have been signed. Diamatregon is on the verge of releasing something completely fantastic. Roberto www.maelstromdescent.com (USA)
