Artist History
Chris Kase is a jazz trumpeter currently living in Madrid where he maintains a busy performing and recording schedule travelling throughout Spain. He has performed or recorded with such jazz greats as: Bob Mintzer, Don Braden, Adam Nussbaum, Steve Wilson, Kenny Wheeler, Steve Coleman and the Mingus Big Band. His compositions have won awards from ASCAP, the Michigan Council for the Arts and the Spanish General Society of Authors and Editors (SGAE).So far, more than twenty five of Chris's original compositions have been recorded and released on CD. On this page, you'll find some fine examples of his writing abilities, his warm sound and masterful trumpet playing. |
