Artist description Babette is an 18 year-old very talented singer/songwriter, with a beautiful and unique voice that will enchant you from the moment you first hear her sing! She is a very charismatic girl, and the pureness, honesty, warmth and depth in her voice combined with her person and looks make her a singer that will take your breath away! Her brother, Emiel, writes most of the music and produces it, being a composer and pianist. Babette then writes the lyrics and does her magic with the music! An awesome combination, that will definately get you hooked and fall in love with it! You have been warned! =)

Musical Influences Everything I've heard and experienced has had an influence on me

Artist History Babette has always been singing, and she comes from a family with a long line of concert pianist and musicians.Her brother, Emiel, has been playing piano and composing music from his 8th, and although they are brother and sister, their musical roads somehow never crossed each other to result into a collaboration. The more Emiel heard her sing though, the more he became aware that she was an unreal talent, and the link fell. His own voice wasn't satisfactory enough for his own compositions, but one time, when he let her sing on one of his songs 'She Never', the magic happened and he was really blown away by the results! Also, the times that Babette did sing in front of a public, the room instantly became totally quiet the moment she would come on stage, you could hear a needle fall, and together with her voice and her very charismatic looks, she totally overwhelmed any audience and made a deep inpact! So, Emiel and Babette have now teamed up together to bring their music in the form of 'Babette', and well... it's just the start of something very promising and very beautiful!
