Artist description An experienced and diverse songwriter, Andrew Martin has proven that there is life after Supernatural. WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING (released August 2002, Subfonic) was well aired and received and was included on SKYLINE SONGS, an album to raise monies for Macmillan Cancer Relief. The tracks that followed that song, including some excellent mixes by Matthew Youens and collaborations with Alan Pedder (Amnesty/Wreckage), Candi Bowels (Work It!), Alighting (Walls May Fall), Octosound and Patrick Robberts sees Andrew doing what he loves best. Exploring sound boundaries and breaking them with contemporary ideas that challenge those boundaries by mixing instruments and styles with strings, beats, vocals and percussion.

Artist History Andrew Martin was the anchor writer for Rather Cool and Supernatural, the latter band being the more productive and commercial. This venture out on his own sees him exploring as many styles of music as possible as well as himself, and hoping to work with as many musicians as possible. He is currently working with a 6piece band as writer, keyboardist and vocalist; Also working with Alighting, Patrick Robberts, Matt Youens and Candi Bowels. He has also written for scriptwriter/playwriter Paul Richards (tracks "Pull The Trigger" and "Mr. Nice Guy"), and has written and recorded a track called "While You Were Sleeping" for a compilation cd released in the UK during August 2002, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief. He is currently writing new material for further collaborations with numerous artists as well as being one of the promotors for The Band Agency in Cambridge and London.
