Artist description Willybear (William Read) is the composer and programmer/performer of all the music on this site. He has had over 12 years professional experience in all styles of music from cutting-edge pop to orchestral performance. At the moment William is looking to write for specific media projects. As this is the beginning of a a new venture he is also very cheap! (Hopefully not for long!)

Artist History William began his professional performance career at the tender age of 13 playing drum kit and percussion in some of England's top cabaret and function bands. As he became more experienced there was a gradual move towards orchestral percussion, playing in championship section brass bands and symphony orchestras. During this time he has also studied at the college of Newcastle attaining distinctions in all aspects of musicianship, composition, media production and music technology. Between 1997 and 2001 William travelled the world as a musical director on several cruise ships. He is now based back in England where he is pursuing a career in songwriting or media composition.
