Artist History
Stephen began studying music at age 15. At 18 he composed and wrote the lyrics for his first one-act musical, "David". While in college he composed and conducted numerous concert pieces, scored student films, wrote the score to a second musical, "Walk With Me", (written with Buffy Redsecker his musical theatre collaborator) and wrote the underscore for a local TV spot. His current musical, a work in progress, is an adaptation of "Dante’s Inferno". Recently he served as copyist and/or orchestrator on the films: "Pumpkin", "Bubble Boy", "24 Hours", and the USC graduate film, "Lonely Place", composed by Hollywood film composer John Ottman. His most recent work is the score for the independent film "Sinker";. |
