Artist description
Quisp is a collection of confused misfits, individually suffering through a collective identity crisis. We feel that it is in the best interest of "society as a whole" that we remain heavily sedated and that we are never, ever, given so much as an inkling of hope that we may succeed on even the most humiliating of levels. |

Artist History
Webber (that's me) feels too self-conscious to rant on and on about his musical prowess, so if I may shift to Hennessy...Hennessy, is a walking time bomb. If this guy was a satellite dish, we'd all be rich. His mind works like a bowl of rotting fruit, constantly fermenting thoughts that should have been exorcised years ago during (band funded) therapy sessions. Gassaway, was raised in a Mormon convent by nuns who convinced him that Joseph Smith was going to kill him if he didn't mind. Finally, Smith. Where to begin...Smith is the drummer. He and his wife Laura collaborated to bring down Quisp, which was at the time performing under the name Wheelhouse with a totally different set of members. Recently, I spoke with Laura and discovered that her conception of why the band disbanded was that Alan had become bored. I was quick to point out, however, that I felt that their getting married played a significant role in the demise of a band on the brink of stardom. Not to leave out any of those people who contributed to the music I would like to mention D.O., S.J.,K.C.,E.L.,S.P. for their brilliant support and creative influence. |
