Artist History Like every musician I love to create music. After years of singing alone I decided to start recording with a cheap taperecorder. Later, I joined with friends in jam sessions. Finally, I bought a SBLive! soundcard, allowing me to exploit the fantastic sequencing world andexpand my inner voices. BraveBlue is a virtual band, it was created in 1999 (under the name Brave Old World) for the GarageBand contest. The best result was a 370th rank with the songChanging (which was not so bad for a Portuguese amateur band in an American site). I also received several good reviews, encouraging me to keep going on...At the present moment, BraveBlue is a personal project. I compose, write, sing, play and produce all songs,aalthough my brother, Pedro Cortez , still helps me in many aspects.
