Artist description
Southern California-based singer-songwriter Barry Seymour sings personal, intimate songs about hope and fear, love and loss. He has been perfoming for more than thirty years, from small coffeehouses to arenas and stadiums. Starting out in the great white north of Marquette, Michigan in the early Seventies, Barry has covered a wide variety of styles, from big time horn bands, guitar based crunch rock and power trios to intimate and personal accoustic music. Since coming to California in the early Eighties he has performed in venues large and small from San Diego to San Francisco.Success (such as it has been) hasn't spoiled him. He now lives in Manhattan Beach, California, near (but emphatically not in) Los Angeles with his wife and daughter, making a few dollars on the side as a computer programmer.Barry's home recording studio consists of a Pentium III PC with Cakewalk's Pro Audio software and assorted guitars, basses, synthesizers, drum machines and microphones. |
