Artist History Formed in the summer of 1999, snowblind has quickly become one of the most distinctive new bands on the Toronto rock scene. The group is comprised of Omar Davis on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, lead guitarist Jeremy Kelly, bassist Dan Coniglio, and Steve Lachance on drums and vocals. Each member offers his own unique sound and personality to the ensemble, creating a strong combination. From the beginning, snowblind realized that they had the potential to create music which appealed not only to themselves as musicians, but to a widespread audience as well. Their sound has been described as having “a sharp modern rock edge, united with engaging melodies and harmony rarely found in this genre”. Due to the great variety in Davis’ songwriting, and strong musicianship throughout the band, snowblind is always at their best during their dynamic live show. Not only are they a great band to hear live, but they are a great band to see live as well. Still full of ideas and fresh new material, snowblind continues to move forward.
