Switch rock about "The children of fate"
Great mix of classic rock and roll and a hip modern sound. All that coming from Canada eh?
Through out The Children Of Fates music you will hear the tasteful influence of the great rock bands of all-time. Be it Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin or even a bit more recent classics like Pearl Jam.
They do a great job of utilizing their influences without ripping them off.
But, don't let all of that fool you, these guys don't have a dated sound at all.
The track, "Road of Life", is a very good mid-to-slow tempo and laid back rock track with a few hooks that really add to the song.
The guitar work on all of their tracks is very good. Both well written, and well executed. I expecially liked the guitar lines on "Ocean".
"Talk of the Town" is a great get up and dance sort of a tune and is the sort of catchy song you find yourself humming later on that day.
Overall, I would highly recommend taking a listen to all of this band's tracks. "Haunting" review of the "Ocean Haunting vocal melody that really sticks with you long after the song is over.I like the vocal inflection as well.Good instrumental layering...very well produced. |
