Artist History
Slightly Askew is a PA ska band consisting of members who attend Mansfield University, most of whom are either music education or music business majors. The band was formed in August, 2000 when two music students (Ryan and Mike) met in marching band. They began writing, recording, and playing songs and eventually recruited more members to join, creating what is now known as Mansfield's first ska band. The band doesn't just play ska music, but also punk, rock, and raggae, therefore making a live show very entertaining and unpredictable. Their live shows are very energetic with crazy antics. Slightly Askew has 3 CDs out currently and is on several compilations. They have 2 EPs and a new full length called "Rock, Rinse, Repeat", which they released on their first tour date of their 2002 "Tour de May". The new 16-track CD is available on the band's website, so go there and get your copy of it now! |
