Artist description
Based in Moscow. String players currently work at the Kirov opera theater under Valery Gergiev, so it is an additional problemfor us to meet and practice. But still we do ourbest to play somewhere at least once a month. It is hard to find a good impressario in Russiathese days, so we are planning to visit a few morecompetitions (in addition to those that we have already won) and maybe find somebody to manage us in Europe. We hate working in the orchestra and hope that somedaywe will be able to do only chamber music. |

During the five years of its existence the ensemble performed in different concert halls of Moscow (including Small and Rakhmaninovsky halls of Moscow conservatory) and also in different cities across Russia.During the 7th International music festival “Moscow Forum” (1999, Russia-France) together with famous Russian clarinetist Eugene Petrov the trio performed O.Messiaen`s “Quartet to the end of time”.In November 1999 the ensemble became the Laureate of the First prize and also won six special prizes at the Second Open National Taneyev competition. While thinking of chamber performance as of the dominating occupation now and in future, members of the trio are also busy with other musical activies. In 1999 string players began their collaboration with the orchestra of the Kirov opera (St. Petersburg) under Valery Gergiev.
