Her mother is a singer of Mexican and South American Indian descent. After settling in New England, Kathleen discovered her passion, the music she grew up with - Jazz and Blues. She is equally at home singing Jazz, Swing, Blues, Ballads or the Bossa Nova in Portuguese Her new CD 'The Dreamer' is proof of that! In fact, 'The Dreamer', is titled after a Jobim bossa nova tune that Kolman sings in English and Portuguese. 'The Dreamer' is a mix of swing, bossa nova, blues, and ballads.
