Artist History Swan’s music career has come literally through the back door. Growing up in southwest Montana, she started writing songs as early as age 10. By high school she was playing keyboards in a rock band and doing some solo performances on her own. After graduating she earned a degree in education at Montana State University and put her songs on hold while she married and started a life outside of music.The hiatus from music lasted only long enough for the desire to catch up to just what it is she does. After some profound soul searching, she found herself back in her studio, writing, playing, and dabbling in recording. Before she truly recognized the magnitude of what she was creating, she had in her hands, a full blown album project and a career in doing what she does best. Her songs, her way.Performing solo has evolved into a four, sometimes five piece band. The band, like her music is a design of eclectic proportion. To all that have been involved with her and her music, she attributes a path not clearly mapped, but one that is clearly open for what it is that comes next.For now Swan is taking it one step at a time. She has developed HoZone Productions and Publishing Co. Her logo, which she created, has been trademarked and has been incorporated into a line of clothing wear, including camisole style tanks, baseball caps, long and short sleeve T’s and sweatshirts.The “Plain Words” show is available for bookings now.
