Artist description
This is a serious attempt at exploring the boundaries of sound for human "pleasure."While everything was well thought-out,I wanted to maintain a spontanious feel to it. Use of themes rarely occur withing regular metering.Much of it is characterized by either accentuated high or low frequencies sustained for long periods of timeto give continuity in place of scored meter. At times, certain sounds are repeated at a rate that simulates a white noise. All of these songs were written on a Roland GM module. I wanted test the sonic boundaries of it and see exactly what it was capable of, though not intended for. This work is over-all an experiment in sound, offering new light to old questions. |
