They play a wide range of styles in their music and are currently working on their first CD project. Artist History Bugs Meenie was formed in 2000 by four individuals. Originally, it was named Hemp Salad with the looking to make a new change. The guitarist joined the band shortly thereafter and a new style was born bringing forth hard rock mixed with some main stream alternative styles. It took the band a year to locate the type of singer that they needed to fill their shoes. Recently, a new bass player has entered the band and added a groove that the band had hoped would exist.Since forming the band in it's entirety, Bugs Meenie has been playing local venues and local radio stations around Atlanta. They are currently working on a CD and hope to have it completed very soon.
