    Artist description
    Union-jack was formed in early 1999 by Jack Taormino. The goals were to put together a group of 4 dedicated musicians that wanted to make music seriously and still have fun and make some money as well. We still have the original line-up of Chris Montcalmo on Lead Vocals, Keys, & Rhythm Guitar, Steve Taormino on Lead Guitar, and Backing Vocals, Wayne Keller on Bass, and Jack Taormino on Drums, Percussion, Vocals, and Sound.

    Artist History
    Chris Montcalmo - is a Graduate of University of Delaware, His previous band experiences were with a classic rock cover band prior to this group, singing in Choir with St. Pious, released a CD while with project. Chris was also in the UDel's Men's choir, formed a fraternity rock band, playing guitar. He also played Piano in Loyola's High School Jazz Band.Steve Taormino has played guitar with Archbishop Curley's Jazz Band for three years with high honors in solo work at National Competitions. He also plays multiple horn's with honors on the Baritone Horn. Steve Currently studies with "Carl Filipiak", one of the nation's most noteable Jazz Guitarist. He will studying music at Towson State University in 2001 -2002.Wayne Keller - plays a 5 string bass and adds quite a bit of melody to our songs. He has played with several original acts throughout Maryland including the bands City Limits, Two Edged Sword, and Daisyhead. Daisyhead was a modern band who showcased in Nashville in 1998, before their break-up. Jack Taormino - has been playing drums most of his life, including guesting with bands while in the Navy in Scotland. He was a member of The Trinity band in the early 90's, Was a founding memeber of T.E.A. composing Original Rock music. Played with Joyride, a R&B, 50's - 70's soul and jazz covers. He also played in Project Rock as a fill in drummer while forming the present band. Formed Union Jack & the Prime Ministers in 1997 doing mostly classic rock covers of the
