Artist description
Originally from the south side of Chicago comes a face familiar to many people of Kansas
City in addition to much of the Midwest as “The Madd Hatter”. David Wilkerson has been
the singer for the enormously popular funk band Simplexity for over four years.
In the Spring of 2001, he began working with producer Tyson Leslie on a series of songs
that soon prompted the idea of a solo career.
“The Madd Hatter Review” showcases Wilkerson’s boisterous and highly energetic
personality through local favorites “Talk To Your Lawyer” and “Fame”, among many
others.
Local radio stations have received these songs very well as they’ve been bombarded with
requests for both songs.
