Artist History
Mark Axmann and Cody Brown formed the band in fall of 2000, not long after parting ways with their former band, 'Q'. Mark and Cody had originally hooked up in 1994 with a band called 'Mommymaker' and played several memorable shows with bands such as Giants Chair, Kill Creek and Dirt Nap. After finally finding a practice space in September of 2000 (which is by no means an easy thing to do in KC) the band was able to recruit the talents of bassist Justin Penney of power-punk local band 'Experiment Gone Bad'. Justin brought the low-end frequency and balance that was needed to make the band's sound complete. |
