Artist History Moonshed was founded by two friends with a love for songwriting. After years of acoustic musicianship they decided to take their music to the streets with a group of solid players to help them along. By combining the talents of their songwriting with the raw skills of some local rock/jazz musicians Moonshed has discovered the roots of what we in the group like to call Urban Folk Rock. A blend of folk based songwriting, jazz chord structures, and rock overtones.
