Artist History Herbert became a major popstar in Iceland 1985 when his song "Can't Walk Away" became a smash hit sitting at number one for two weeks, and remaining in the top twenty for thirteen weeks. The same song was a hit again in 1996, when radio stations started playing the song. The album was then re-released on CD.Herbert has realeased five solo albums, and a new one was published this fall. It's a collection album containing his all-time best songs, along with five new tracks.Herbert has been actively involved in the Icelandic music for many years. In addition to his solo career, he has worked as a lead singer with some of Iceland's most popular groups, and took part in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar". Herbert writes and composes his own material.
