Artist History
Downslide was created in July of 1999 when four high school kids decided to play heavy music. Consisting of Tom Kelly, Adam Fuller, Kevin Bell and Ęthan Copeland, a standard hardcore outfit. That fall, Angelo D'Agostino was added to complete the lineup. The music was first brought to the public in December of 1999, but was by no means an indication of what it has now grown to be. As they tried to incorporate more and more different styles of music into their songs, the less their songs sounded like anything thats currently out there. Each member's influences and techniques were unique, and the only thing that brought the five of them together was the desire to play an original, heavy, complicated, and occasionally jive form of metal. Today, Downslide is successfully carving a new path in heavy music. |
