Artist description
Directrix is a one man producing machine who has set his vision on one thing, to create dance music that is different but still able to make the body move. Directrix will not follow trends in the club industry but will keep on producing tight, slick tracks in the hopes of converting even those who snub their nose to the dance music scene. |

Artist History
Directrix started his musical career playing drums in several rock/metal bands in the early 90's. He moved from Boston to New York and found himself immersed in the club/rave world. Building a small studio piece by piece, Directrix spent many hours honing the tricks of the dance production trade. He released a 3 track jungle ep under the alter ego "The Organizer" in 1999. This record was distributed by Syntax in NYC and was included on Paul C's top ten list on Psuedo.com. Since then Directrix has shifted musical styles to his original love for pure techno driven beats. He has moved back to boston for a short tenure of strict beat manipulation and plans to head out to sunny California very soon. |
