Artist description
Border Crossing is Brad Thompson of Ontario, Oregon and Steve Brown of Payette, Idaho. Steve and Brad met over the internet in late 2000, both searching for collaborating and performing partners after having spent years in various bands and solo projects. Within months the two had "clicked" and were writing new material like crazy. Their blend of unique acoustic folk/pop music has been well recieved throughout the Northwestern United States and they are working feverishly toward the release of their debut CD.
The similarities of the two go far beyond musical influences and style. Both are the same age, married, have the same number of children, are of the same religion, play the same brand of guitar, wear glasses, and have competing receding hairlines.
Border Crossing performances are lively and fun, featuring mostly original material. They are currently playing family festivals, fundraisers, fairs and other community events throughout the Northwest.
