Artist History Blaine the Mono band members include Andy Van Cleave (bass/vocals), Charles Banyard (guitar/vocals), Dan Padilla (bass), and Andy Stern (drums). The band formed in July of 2000. Initially brought together by a strong desire to create a death metal polka band the likes of which the world had never seen. When that fell through, they decided to play original,melodic, punk-rock numbers at local bars, skate parks and old-folks homes while consuming mass amounts of imported beer. Their dream is to eventually play outside of the Tampa area in places like St. Petersburg, Brandon and Big Al's Lounge Package.
