Artist History
Benway formed in late 2000 as Jason and Dustin's Previous band, Deadpan, came to an end. Jason, Brian and Darren were already playing in what would become Benway for sometime while trying to find a bass player. Since his previous band was no more, Dustin was asked to join as the bass player and vocalist and Benway quickly became a cohesive group where everyone's individual style and influences contribute to the overall sound.
With a disregard for traditional song structure, an affinity for odd time signatures and changes, and a love for dissonance Benway creates unique and original music.
