Artist description The Band? Well, just me on the demos presented on this web-page. I have written over 100 songs in the last couple of years and am now sorting through the material, selecting titles that will comprise a cohesive and broad mix. For now I am playing all instruments and singing all vocals, lead and background, on the album material in progress. The demos may sound raw because I recorded directly into the recorder with no effects, overdubbing or re-mixing. I don't like the over-use of effects such as reverb, compression, equalization, etc. I am using these effects minimally, if at all, on the songs being assembled for the album. I think music is more direct and honest when left as is. The album "Her Masters' Voice" (the title is a humorous take on the old victor label) will be available later this year (2003).
