Artist History
For over a decade, the Recruits have been creating exceptional original rock music which has received airplay on many famed radio stations (including San Jose's
98.5 KOME and KFOG, as well as San Francisco's Live 105.) In late 1995, the Recruits
founded their own record label (DARE2 Records) and recording studio, and produced
their first self-titled debut album. Due to the success of that album, the band returned
to the studio to produce their current critically-acclaimed release. The Recruits are currently supporting that album by touring throughout the western United States, with repeat visits to stages in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and many other venues. |

"Modern guys with quirky love tunes, laced with heavy word play and an open-road vibe... never hitting a minor note or letting the beat go below pogo pace."--Las Vegas City Life. "I thought I had my Top 10 of '98 list all set when "Just Pick It" arrived in the mail. But the quality of the disc demanded that it be included..." --BAM Magazine |
