Artist History
The Common Blind came to be by happy accident in late 1998 when the three of us got together to celebrate our mutual love of distressingly loud noises. Much to everyone's surprise, the result was actually quite pleasant to behold, and the decision was made that we owed the world a CD. Thus, 'Demosapien' was born, and we were proud papas. Maybe he didn't do so well in school, and he may very well have been a mongoloid, but he was ours, dammit, and we loved him. After spending some time bringing our child to the local bars and prostituting him for a mere $8.00, we suddenly realised that we could, in fact, do much better. Thus, the bar scene was temporarily abandoned, and work began on 'Like a Pornstar', which happy consumers should be able to purchase later this year. To celebrate the impending arrival of our newborn, we will gradually be releasing all of the demosapien material for free, and maybe some other random crap we have lying around while we're at it. Enjoy! Update: Like A Pornstar is currently experiencing technical difficulties. In the meantime, we give you Pedes Caecus, a new 3 song demo, 100% free. |
