Press Reviews
"Sweet Flame is a lusitanian quartet that follows the steps of their compatriots Moonspell, in fact this recording make us remeber the mitic Anno Satannae of the mencioned. That recording (from Moonspell) was sincerily, pretty bad, and it didn’t anounced the quality of the band when they showned themselves to the world. In this case, Sweet Flame are very different. The demo-tape is not bad, althought they could improve some aspects and the genre is obviously Melodic Black/Gothic wich as helped Moonspell in their way to fame. Make it clear that Sweet Flame aren’t a musical copy of Moonspell, but we can say that they walk trought parallel ways of those used by the great portuguese band in his begining. Maybe some day Sweet Flame will have the recognition that their compatriots had. " |
