Press Reviews
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR CONTRIBUTION TOTHE SUNDAYS TRIBUTE ALBUM, "OUR FINEST HOUR."Weep the Violets-Wow, what a voice. "On Earth" was the perfect song to show it off. Just as haunting. There's a reason why this band shows up twice on the tape.Weep the Violets' "On Earth" - I can't even say. Brilliant cover worthy to stand beside even the most revered covers in my mind. The voice. That's all I have to say. Janice's voice. F~*$!@& h$!%. Weep the Violets' "Joy" - again, Janice Whaley's voice. But this time there's another element that's also worthy of notice and that's John Givenand his array of erotic, I mean, exotic instruments and sounds. Every bit as strong as theSundays' version but with a different flavor. It's"Another Flavour". I mean, it's "Joy", but WITH another flavor. |
