Press Reviews
Layers of homemade guitar effects wash over meandering, melodic bass lines. Enough song craft and curiosity-sparking guitar noise to carry you through.

"Lyrical Brooklyn trio with a good handle on making cheap guitars go a long way."
CMJ
"This is a very understated disc of fine, melodic indie-pop tunes. There's no pretense here, no posing or posturing, just good music. The music is dark, yet bouncy, leaving the listener feeling off balance. This is a good thing because too many bands are willing to follow formulas that leave nothing to the imagination and provide nothing unexpected. bands which are willing to delve into the unexpected are the best kind and produce the most interesting and fun music. While I may be overstating the amount of originality from red soda, nevertheless, the disc is one that is interesting and fun to listen to. - Paul Silver

Reviewer: New Band Reviewer from Orlando, FL
Red Soda is a group you are going to tell your grandkids about. I listen to and review a lot of music, and generally rely on my over-40-yr-old experienced taste to separate the mediocre from the good and great. It's usually my ears and brain that interpret and decide, but very rarely is it my whole body nervous system! I've listened to "When We Floated" over a 50 times, and every time I get those non-describable "chill bumps" up my spine and throughout my body. If this band continues with music like this cut, "Red Soda" will be the newest Central Florida band on everyone's tongue. (Update: Red Soda currently recording in Orlando area.)
