Artist description
In June 1999, Nate Thomas-Vocals, Tim Chomiak-Bass, Gordy Burks-Drums, and Jaime Reynolds-Guitars collaborated as Prozack Staple. Enriched by monotone Mount Vernon, WA, only sixty miles south of the Canadian border, their idea was to create innovative, complex, original music to essentially "wake up" the average listening public. "We want our music to grow on our fans just like Tool's music grows on their fans."
Each single section of their songs can be compared to movements in a classical piece. The way each part is molded has a certain flow to it that does not leave you hanging. You will feel that particular emotion at a live show when you are wondering what the hell is going on. You cannot stick your finger on it because it is so diverse and different.
In early 2000, they added long time friend/follower Arron Steiner as a stage performer. With his unique masks, costumes, and occasional backup vocal assistance, he provides superfluous entertainment to their live set. People always become curious of his freaky movements and tend to become hypnotized by his presentation.
They are nationally sponsored by Jagermeister, having thus joined the Jager band family with greats such as Slayer, Pantera, Hed PE, Five Foot Thick, Insane Clown Posse, Switched, Chimaira, Lit, and FMLY, just to name a few. They also belong to Seattle Metal Online and have received interest from labels and management companies such as Flawless Records, Metal Blade Records, King Artist Management, and Freeze Management/I Am Recordings. Not to mention, their song, Obelisk, was aired on the following Fox Sports Network extreme sports TV shows: High Octane, Vans Off The Wall, and Core Culture. Most importantly, Prozack Staple has enhanced the Seattle, Bellingham, Spokane, and Portland areas with their new independently released album, "the Calm behind the Chaos."
Another important aspect behind the band is the relationship with the fans. "If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be where we are today." They have established a national street team which involves their fans or "reps" promoting the band in such ways like handing out CD samplers, flyers, and requesting them on local radio.
The future waits for this orchestrated chaotic five-piece who are ready to take the fun and business to the next level with the help of the label who decides to pick them up. "We're ready to work hard for any label who would be interested in assisting us. We know we wouldn't let them down with our professional attitude towards this industry."

Artist History
The orginal trio of Prozack Staple (Gordy, Tim, and Jaime) have been together since they were 14-15 years old. They're all now 20-21 years of age presently. They went from a mediocre to an evolved tight musical band that plays shows every week. The new guy Nate Thomas has been in Prozack Staple since June of '99 and it is like he's been with them ever since the beginning. |
