Artist History Began in 94 on a train; inspired by the Power Operated Doors on board, we set out to re-create music, using any sounds we could.That first jam still appears on pod albums,even in 99. And beyond; there is no studiotime for pod; all time is recording time, most takes are first takes and layers areconstructed from different sources recordedat different times by people who may not have even met. Now that two Americans have joined forces, pod is truly panglobal. We play live now and then, often with people who just rocked up on the night with no intention of playing. There are about six million bands or otherthings called 'pod' at the moment, and we'reone of them.
