Artist description
Micharel is a composer, guitarist and vocalist from the San Francisco Bay area.
His style melds dark pop and Pagan dirges in a way that was once described by a friend as 'Dead Can Dance meets David Bowie and goes to Lebanon.' Having been at a loss for a genre, Micharel was relieved by this perspective.
Micharel performed all instruments and vocals on his debut album 'Visceral' which was engineered by Matthew Trettin of Visionary Mastering. |

Artist History
In 1987, after nearly a decade of private lessons, Micharel survived a near death experience. The insatiable need to compose was a term of survival for him from then on. He soon erupted into a flurry of composition. Micharel met Matthew Trettin in 1996 just as he was opening his studio, Visionary Mastering. In 2000, 'Visceral' was born. |
