Artist description Guzmanz Lung is a heavy guitar/bass driven power rock band from Union City, NJ. We've been building a following in the tri-state area's club circuit for the past 3 yrs and are looking a record label.

Artist History Guzmanz Lung. Named after a childhood inspirational figure, hailing from the lower working class of Union City, NJ. Out of that melting pot, three kids would shine like stars. Mike O’connor, Henry Perez, And Jorge Tamajon (JT), would rise from the ashes of “1976”. A time when the country’s downward economic decline and rise of inflation would play a major role in their song writing. Heavily influenced by: KISS, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin etc., the lads would pick up anything from trash cans to tennis rackets to create their unique brand of power rock. By the 8th grade, they were known as a solid local rock act, playing at school halls, block parties, and any gig they could land. After countless years of searching for a steady vocalist, the band would benefit from an east coast band known as Pieces, now defunct. Guzmanz Lung snatched front-man/long-time friend, Jorge Pita. Also unable to maintain a bass player, they stumbled into another childhood friend, Kevin Anderson, he would become the last member of the family. With intense rehearsals and powerful song writing, on a second floor loft overlooking the red light district of downtown Union City, Guzmanz Lung built a large following. Laying down a non-stop assault on the NY/NJ club circuit. Jamming clubs such as: CBGB’s, The Limelight, Love Sexy, etc. Attracting fans from transvestites to midgets. Guzmanz Lung has only one road to follow, and it’s taking them straight to the top. Sit back…enjoy the ride. Eat, sleep, breathe…The Lung.
