Artist description
Known as the dopest live band in Vegas. The energy is maddening, and unavoidable. 4 of the 6 members are East Coast transplants from New York and the other 2 are Las Vegas natives. The therapeutic live shows are a great chance to let off a little
steam(or a lot). A very versatile and talented group of individuals, Freakwen.c loves what they do and it shows. Singer Shane Ali invites anyone to call him to book gigs with Freakwen.c or just to bullshit about music or the tenth dimension and
how it relates to #$#%&&!!DIAL (702) 680-4933. Shane is the singer and loves to freestyle with anyone......the sicker the better. Hailing from New York he's played the circuit with some of the dopest n.y.c crazies.Lance is also from N.Y and has
the talent to rock out with anyone who's fuckin' rad. He played in old L.V. standard on the scene Trial By Fire. Drummer Curtis Diehl made Spoiled Milk who they were with his crazy ass drumming and is still known to play a gig with the fellas when
he gets a chance. Steve joined the Freakwen.c family not long after it's conception and gave the band the rhythm and additional power it needed to jump the cliff.their bass player Jason is the newest member coming from his old group Battery Ton
where perhaps his talent as a premiere bass player was overlooked since he had played guitar for them. Finally completing the full circle , d.j. Tone Capone brought his two turntables and crates of wax to help put the finishing touches on Freakwen.c's
sound.Bad-fucking-ass, revved up, dope as shit, and hard hiitin' Freakwen.c is givin' ya whatcha need. Check out the songs "calm" and "fade away", and make your own conclusion. You can also buy either single, just click and collect. PEACE!

Music Style
Aggressive grooves inspired by hip-hop, and feeding off of the underground hardcore sounds of both N.Y. and Cali w/edgy raps and pyschotic rhyme schemes. |
|
Musical Influences
Everything from east and westcoasts underground scenes. We all grew up on different varieties of music depending on where we were at the time and what was hot in those underground scenes. Hip-hop and rap seemed to intrigue most of us, as well as the more aggressive alternatives of the past and present. The members of the band have been able to recognize the similarities in attitudes of both of these kinds of music, and seem to agree with their philosophies on life and the society in which we live! |

Similar Artists
Although often compared to Rage and the Deftones (w/ a D.J.), we've also heard Helmet meets House of Pain. Listen to Calm or Fade Away and decide for 'delf. |
