Artist description
There comes a time, in all music scenes, when the music that is put forth from it seems ingenuine, forced, and exceedingly tired. The audience becomes bored and begins to look for something new, something inspired, something which possesses drive. This time has come and metal audiences can now look to CUT.LOVE.KILL. |

Artist History
Formed in 1996, CLK began writing music centered around a heavy, intense groove paired with vocals which are at times intense, and at other times quite melodic. Focusing on dynamics, CLK can within seconds bring you from a powerful, crushing groove to a beautifully harmonized melody. At times, they have been likened to bands ranging from Machine Head/Souls at Zero/Pantera to Soundgarden/Chili Peppers (though we still fail to see the similarities in CLK's music and the last two cited examples!). Lyrically, CLK attacks sensitive areas, such as suicide and abortion, on an emotional level. With the release of their self-titled three song demo in early 1998, CUT.LOVE.KILL has toured throughout the Ohio Valley area, bringing it's intense live show and dominant stage presence to cities such as Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Nashville. Two of the most notable of these shows were before sold out crowds at Bogart's in Cincinnati, opening for Vanilla Ice and Orgy. Reviews of its live show have been nothing but positive as C.L.K. have been dubbed one of the most intense live acts in the area. With demo sales now in excess of 1000 copies and a brand new CD entitled Power Transition Theory on the way, C.L.K. continues to grow strong bringing its sound to audiences throughout the mid-west. |
