Artist description
Emotional and musical to the core. The sound is ever developing, as any band should, and leans more R&B and Rock than the current MP3 files suggest. We hit the studio again in early September. Keep an eye out! |

Press Reviews
No wonder singer-songwriter Andrew Mark throws a "ba-dum-bop-ba" scat into the chorus of his breezy tune "Old Song, Fast Car." It's a moment that sums up Mark's musical style: casual, soulful acoustic pop. While Mark's new EP "Anything Can Happen" is packed with ebullient acoustic guitars, the album sports a few other flavors: "Got a Sense About You" is a pretty, country-ish ballad that finds a fresh way to say I'm in love and lust with you, while the spacey synths and guitars of "Perfect Night" conjure a New Age-y Peter Gabriel/Sting feel. The Andrew Mark Band plays soulful, rootsy acoustic rock that lands somewhere between Matchbox 20, Dave Matthews Band, and Tracy Chapman. -Rick DeYampert, The Tennessean |
