BIO:
A multi-instrumentalist on many musical platforms, A()K (Alex O'Konski) has a solid groove foundation in his musical writings and his style of acoustic and electric bass playing. Alex tends to produce, record and perform live with noumerous musical acts from New Orleans as well as his current home in Los Angeles.. Born and bred deep down south in the city that gave birth to Jazz (New Orleans), A()K studied, performed and lived all forms of American music while floating around the prestigious University of New Orleans Jazz program. In N.O. he also became a "Sound Guru" on recording and a "mad scientist" in the recording lab.. In Los Angeles, Alex expanded his recording knowledge and worked with Grammy Award winning engineers and musicians. Today, A()K can be found in L.A. rockin' some club, in front of the Apple Mac G4 Pro-Tools rig with some rockin' project, or floating around the streets of Hollywood telling people to take off their spandex.....
