Artist History William McIntyre has been a professional musician since age 15. He started in the band Crusader, an all original metal band. That was his first experience opening for national acts. For the last few years he has toured the East Coast with several bands, including the Kingpins, Great Train Robbery and the Janitors. He’s had the kick of jamming with some of the best and opening for acts like the Marshall Tucker Band and Lynard Skynard. Some Richmonders also know him as “Screamin Willie,” a name he uses for solo gigs and for when he teams up with “Brother Bad Beat,” his flesh-and-blood drummin bro and back-up vocalist. Using that name he has won or placed in several Virginia guitar competitions, like Hotlicks. He has also done some regional commercial work and gotten air play on XL102, thanks to DJs Jeff and Jeff. Over the last 15+ years, he has written and recorded hundreds of original tunes in his primitive home studio. He keeps the U.S. Copyright office pretty busy. (He literally has CRATES of recordings.)While the music that is uploaded here is blues/rock, he experiments in many styles. Currently, he is touring the East Coast with the Janitors.
